What's the difference between shared hosting and VPS?
Shared hosting splits server resources across many users. VPS gives you dedicated vCPU, RAM and storage - so your performance is never affected by other customers.
Can I install custom software?
Yes - you have full root access. Install any package from the OS repo or compile from source. You control the entire software stack.
Do you manage the VPS for you?
Unmanaged VPS means you manage the OS. For a fully-managed option where we handle updates, security and monitoring, see our Cloud & DevOps service.
What OS options are available?
CentOS Stream 9, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Debian 12 and AlmaLinux 9. Choose at setup - a fresh rebuild is free if you change your mind.
Is cPanel included?
cPanel and Plesk licences are available as optional add-ons on Business and Pro plans. The base VPS is provided without a control panel.
Can I upgrade my VPS without downtime?
CPU and RAM upgrades require a short reboot (< 2 min). Storage is expanded live with zero downtime. We'll schedule maintenance to minimise disruption.
